Hello guys! I recently purchased this Laura Mercier foundation and loose setting powder and I fell in love since the first time I applied this!

Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluid
This foundation makes my skin look beautiful, natural and flawless. It blurs out my imperfections and it doesn't emphasize any texture or bumps on my skin. It's a strong light/medium coverage (it won't cover up my really stubborn pimples) but it's perfect to even out my skin tone. I love it so much more because if I have spots I need to cover,  I can build up the foundation and it does NOT look cakey, all other foundations I've tried to build up have always looked too cakey on my dry skin but this one blends so beautifully you can't even tell. I apply my powder contour, blush and highlight and they sit so nice and last really long over this foundation.
Laura Mercier Shade in Golden

Pros: Lightweight, Natural flawless finish, Matte,  Smooth finish, Easy to apply, build-able without looking cakey, blend-able, minimizes pores, blurs imperfections (scars, texture, laugh lines) , doesn't cling to dry patches,  long lasting, oil-free, non-comedogenic
Cons: A bit leaky

Application: I moisturize with First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Creme and then I apply Makeup Forever Skin Equalizer Primer. I shake the foundation then I tap it upside down so that the product doesn't leak when I open it. I need about 3-4 pumps for my whole face. I dab the foundation around my skin and spread it out with my fingers, then I blend it out with my Real Techniques sponge!

Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
I know this product has been really popular but I can confirm it was made through the hands of an angel. I'm kidding, but SERIOUSLY it's so hard to find a powder that won't make me look dryer and still give me that "porcelain doll" look to my skin! This powder makes my skin look soft, I love it. I can use this to "cake/bake" my dry under eyes and it won't look thick, powdery, or heavy after I dust it off.

Pros: Lightweight, Smooth, Natural, Flawless, Mattifying, Creaseless, Long Lasting,
Application: After applying foundation I lightly dust a small amount all over my face with a kabuki brush. I pat it around my skin with the brush. I use the Real Techniques sponge sometimes to pat it onto my undereyes to really set my concealer.

By far the most natural foundation routine I have. I think the foundation and setting powder are both great for people with oily, combo or dry skin. It's lightweight on the skin, and still gives coverage. I haven't stopped wearing it since I got it. I even wear it on days that I get ready at 6 in the morning and when I come home around 4 my skin still looks good.
I tried my best to mention all the things I noticed about this foundation. I hope you guys found this review useful! Thanks so much for reading, you guys have a great day!

Hello guys! I have been wanting to make a review on these products for sooo long but I wanted to make sure I knew everything I could about how they work with my skin or how they work with different products. Heads up, I have normal, dry and sensitive skin. I have uneven and very dull skin tone.

Make Up Forever - Step 1 Skin Equalizer Smoothing Primer
Pros: Silky, soft, smooth on skin, Lightweight, No residue, Fast absorbing, Balances skintone, Good base for foundations, Long lasting with many foundations
Cons: It takes a lot to cover whole face,

This primer does exactly what it says it does! I'd recommend it to anyone with normal to oily skin. It worked well with different types of foundations, thick, creamy or thin consistencies. Definitely a primer if you want smooth balanced skin and a long lasting base. What I don't like about it is that I need to apply a lot of product to cover my face.

This is 2 pumps

Nars - All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation
Pros: Long wearing, Natural finish, Lightweight, Medium coverage, Blurs imperfections, Minimizes pores, Doesn't look cakey even with other products, Very thin consistency
Cons: Dries fast, Clings to dry patches, Messy bottle, Takes like 6 drops for whole face.

I love this brand, so I always have very high expectation of it, considering it's also pricey. It took me a while to actually fall in love with this foundation. At first I was applying it with a brush and it just gave it too much texture. Then I used the Real Techniques Sponge and it was absorbing too much products and not giving me the coverage that I want. So, I applied it with nothing but my fingers and it gave me great coverage and a very natural finish, it looks like it imitates skin!  The consistency feels very watery, it blends effortlessly and the skin absorbs it well. I do need like 6 pumps to cover my whole face which I think sucks because I do want this foundation to last me a long time. As for this foundations longevity, it honestly lasted me a good 8+ hours! It wears very well all day long.
Sometimes the weather or products will irritate my skin and give me dry patches and when that happens this foundation emphasizes all the texture from my irritation and makes my face look so flakey. I was on the fence of returning it but then my face went back to normal. This foundation can give you amazing results, I just wouldn't recommend it if you have very dry flaky skin. I need a very thick moisturizer on most days for this foundation to look flawless. This foundation gives an airbrush look and it feels so weightless.

Cover FX - Matte Setting Powder
Pros: Vegan, Matte, Long lasting, Small amount goes a long way, Natural, Adds a little extra coverage
Cons: If you apply too much it will get cakey, Messy Packaging,
This has been my go to setting powder. I apply the smallest amount and it gives me coverage and sets my foundation. It helps my foundations wear longer. I don't like to apply any type of powder directly to my undereyes because they're usually so dry but just a light brush of this powder and it does the job. I can always count on this setting powder and that's why I love it!

Here's how these products look on my normal/dry skin! I use Nivea Creme as my moisturizer and it's fantastic and you can find it for only a dollar! I did close ups of my skin so you can see the texture of it all. This is definitely my favorite foundation routine so far. It gives the coverage of a thicker foundation (that can make me look cakey) but it has the finish of a sheer foundation (Natural).
I hope you have found this post useful! Thanks so much for reading! Tell me what you think in the comments, I'd love to hear! Have a great day everyone.

Pros: Great Color Payoff, Versatile, Blendable, Buildable, Applies Smoothly, Silky & Creamy, Seamless,  Fancy Packaging, Everyday & Night Out looks, Travel Friendly
Cons: Pricey, Lighter shades lack pigment, A primer is very needed (or atleast a base)
Left to Right - Brilliance, Imagination, Genius, Understanding, Instinct, Observation, Wit, Perception, Reason, Intellect, Creativity, Thinker
Ps. I mixed up the last three shades, they're accidentally in a different order

Hello guys! Today I'm reviewing Stila's Eyes Are The Window Mind palette, I've had it for a bit over two weeks. I love the shades in  this palette, they work very well among one another. The colors in the shade literally do the work for me, I don't always have to work shade by shade (Although it does look better for an even more seamless look) but I can throw one shade into my crease and blend it, it won't get messy and you won't loose the color of the shade you started with. The lighter shades in this palette don't show up on my skin so easily. I'm pretty tan and some of the shades are very similar to my skin tone so I do have to build them up. I love love love the brown in this palette because it's just a normal brown color, it's not cool or warm so it's easy to work with the shades in the palette that are either or. I've been using this palette so much and I feel like it's going to last me a long time.

Thank you guys so much for reading, I hope you have found this post useful. I love this palette and I think it's totally worth it. It's always caught my eye and I was so happy to pick it up on my birthday. If you're looking for a palette with warm orangy tones and cool purple tones this is definitely for you. If you have any questions, feel free to comment! Let me know what you guys think about it! I appreciate you following along, have a great day!

Pros: Silky Smooth, Good Pigmentation, Matte, Easy to use, Blendable, Buildable, Long Lasting, Versatile, Neutral, Cool, & Warm Shades, Cute Packaging, Travel Friendly
Cons: Powdery,
Hello Darlings! Too Faced Matte Eye Palette has been in the market for quite a while and I've had it for about a month. When I first bought it, I literally could not put it down. It has become a staple to my everyday routine. My favorites are Honey Butter and Chocolate Cookie (warm tones are my fave).  If your someone who loves neutral looks all the time, Too Faced made this palette for you. The colors are beautiful and they blend really well, but if you apply too much it can get messy. I would just recommend to work with a light hand, little by little to work the colors up. I adore this palette, I have to take it along with me every time I travel.
Shades Used: Heaven, Nudie, Honey Butter, Chocolate Cookie

Shades Used: Heaven, Strapless, Cashmere Bunny, Risque, Sexpresso

What better way to spend Monday than to talk about make-up! Lol! Thanks so much for following along, Have a great week guys!
