The Lavender Festival

Flowers are amongst one of the most beautiful things in this world. And unfortunately, not all flowers bloom year long. I was very excited to visit the Lavender Festival in Cherry Valley, CA. It is only open until the end of June so I had to make a trip before it was too late. However, "the later the better" in this case actually makes sense. The fields were only 20% in bloom and I can only imagine how it would look at 100%.

The festival itself actually had a ton of fun activities, shops, food vendors and even a petting zoo! We had a lot of fun, the entrance is only 15$ (kids free). And the free stuff you can do is: walk amongst the flowers, take pictures, petting zoo, kid games, learning booths, and window shop (probably more than this but I got there a little later)  However, food and things cost money :(

If you're a coffee person then the iced lavender latte is worth trying, and if you're a lemonade person then I recommend the iced lavender + lemonade drink.

I would come here again and again just to appreciate these lovely flowers. Nothing is prettier than what nature can make and we should take time to explore, admire and take care of this Earth in every little way.
